fed up
extreme displeasure this whole week...i shall use analogies and stories to describe it.
THE ORIGINS OF 505 DEUTERONOMY
a long long time ago, there was 505 deuteronomy.back then it had a super extended name: deuteronomy-stephanie.in it were four notorious characters:
1. Lyan
She is a powerful character.Her ultimate purpose is to beat everyone in life.A person with the right priorities from a PURELY academic mindset.She has been known to study so much that she forgets which days are school days and when are her mealtimes. A person who cannot seem to enjoiy parting with her books, she is the first to go home and last to reach school.Like a water dam which holds much fluids, she has immense potential energy to excel and ultimately do well in GRADES. anything other than GRADES are just plain unimportant.such things include having to conform to rules, mealtimes, practicals, presentations, school......and the list goes on.
2. An Ay Tee Ay Ass Hedge Ay
Lyan's best friend...or so it seems.Tries her best to fit in with the humans, but her efforts are much noted.sanctions herself from the rest of the school together with Lyan.has a seemingly omnipotent mind about the latest news.She has this incredible talent of spreading news in whatever form she prefers, never mind that it comes out all wrong. She has an abstract taste in art( which includes clothes, patterns and...guys)while she thinks she's everybody's friend, much has yet to be known about her. She also known to forget which days are school days and has a way with getting things done (no matter what comes out, it actually happens).Her leadership in class is most excellent. The people of the class think she is such a wonder with the class' admin that they think they can't have too much of a good thing. She has an immense influential power. even by talking about nothing or abstract stuff, she can influence Lyan to do things...Horse is her nickname, Procrastination's her game
3. Steps
God's gift to parents and teachers, she fulfils all their expectations and is the personification of those expectations being met.If u watched Artificial Intelligence, you would probably think she is the improved version of David. She is extremely driven for work and strives for perfection that is already personified as her. She leads a life dedicated to studies and studies and studies. Her performance at tests far exceed the crowd. She has the power of 25 brains and has the ability to ignore biological urges until those organs begin to protest. As in artificial intelligence, she cannot help it but score well and score well and score well and...
Her CPU holds her values and there is no way you can make her break them.She personally thinks her life is full of meaning with books and stationery and vegetables and cadmium and studies and studies and studies and grades and grades...
Did i mention she cannot help doing such things? She, like bulldozers, subconciously mows down everything in her path to perfection.including students...
She also tries to spread her innocence to everyone( i dunno how u do that, i thought u only can get it corrupted).Her positivity may get in everyone's way sometimes, but say all you want, she'd be gobbling up ur scholarships and university places and awards while you are still here maknig empty talk. She aims to work in a hospital where there is no blood nor sexual notations at all. Her favourite tool? the SAW. This was chosen after she sat through an operation in the hospital, as she claimed that it makes her more medicinal than the average student, to get her feel around the place.Where she assumes she'd work, no matter where the post, as long as it is bloodless, goreless, sexless.Where is this special department? the Medicine department.
4.Ay Peer
Steps' best friend.used to sit apart from Steps but has moved next to her a few weeks ago.like Steps, she is an extremely driven person. She tries her best at her studies and her efforts are much noted through her jargon of terminology. While she may have sufferred multiple losses despite her efforts, she is still positive about the future and will try her best in whatever she does. Her determination to do well can be seen in her unfortunate neglect of her health and absence from school.
Another talent she has is her vocal abilities.not the singing one but the conversational one.She has the ability to talk about almost practically everything under the sun AND make it "interesting". and if u are feeling pretty much down, she'd come up with her information tidbit which are useful input to ur problem. with such a powerful gift, she packs a punch, so guys...be careful
Did i mention her positivity and vocal abilities makes her the hottest gal among the guys in the class? from gathering the votes of the guys in the class, popular votes go to her. after her would be the tree and wall...
like Steps, she plans to work in the same department which is pretty much pure.but she is ok with something other than that, unlike Steps.Her vision? to be the soldier that beats the same germs that always plague her now.
that sums up about all my displeasure.first two are eyesores and last two ear sores.u gotta think i'm crazy to be displeased with such good people huh?
singapore idol. from all that furore and blah blah surrounding the votes, i can only say the voters are pretty much shallow.we must always remember that this is a singing contest where voters are expected to be mature enough to get the real talent in, instead of dear ol shallowness of viewers.the subject of controversy is joakim. and i have to say his courage is simply admirable.despite all that trash people give him, he holds on.but really, they are totally missing the point when people keep voting him in.do u still want to see this performer get slammed on stage and online every week or are u going to save him some dignity to at least leave this time.cos as people get knocked off instead of him, his worth and value decreases each time he scrapes through.more of singapore slams him as he goes through.lets do him a favour and just let him go yeah? there are some times when a person's idolatory is more than just support.
captain's ball: never seen it played in such a violent manner until anglolympics.where guys knock down gals and balls fly across courts.bloody captains direct from their chairs with vulgarities and shut u up when u try to show support for the opposing team.absolutely zero intelligence.oh well, i can only say shahir's gentlmanliness is kinda fake.it all boils down to when things get heated up, and u show ur true self.so gals of the level that like hanging around him, with all his gentlemanly behaviour, remember the time when he almost did harmful stuff to steph just to snatch a ball.not that its a bad thing but it was shahir...
yesterday was ROD parade for sec 4s.man, i feel old.it seems only like yesterday that i passed out and now i become the cadet inspector.these sec 4s have been my cadets and rose to become NCOs and shining in the unit...blah blah blah la.all i can say is..its been good times with them la.

WASTE MY TIME!

i just came back from it.most of the time was spent arguing and being made to do meanningless sstuff.
i'm fed up at the whole organisation of it all

gan jia hao- guai lan coordinator.wait, is he a new friend or have i met him before?
to primary school kids who like mingle around with secondary school kids or post secon dary kids,ersp sitting in their classes and then CANT HELP trying to get high marks, go through the proper channel first before even stepping into anything else
doctor wannabes who cannot stand the sight and sound of mildly sexual content should just give up their dreams and either go to hell or be a pharmacist.cos u gotta be at leas a GP to do such stuff and GP is the basic.OOPS.

i didnt know yamaha had lefthanders which were cheaper than fenders.okok maybe not so famous.but they had this nice bass for left handers.HOO! sixhundred bucks!

sprained jaw
crap, i've got this aching jaw thingy and my dad called it a sprained jaw.looks like i cant shoot off my mouth...
firstly, things at home are really peachy.my mum's seriously getting irrational.i'm pissed and really really irritated that my dad does not give me clearance to stay in boarding school.call it an excuse but i blame it on the situation at home man.
i missed national camp.i'm seriously pissed at the way people do stuff and place manpower.and at the rivalry between the two factions.its just plain arsed.and i missed a good chance.shall tell it in school.
i'm fed up.the stupid IAs are seriously getting on my nerves.its like u have to half an EE for every report.business is so hard to score.the school keeps setting nice hard chem papers.my grades just keep getting erratic.gosh, i nid stability in life man...

Broken Shadows of old gods and giants
this title, taken from a poem by edwin thumboo, is used to describe the state of ACS(I) UYOs now
firstly, my iop is kinda screwed up.TOK got super bad.i'm a failure at all these man..
ok to the meat of the post, i cannot hold such thoughts in anymore because this degrading standard is so real but nobody realises it.
Point number 1- Sword of Honour recepients. their sword drills are all wrong.if i hadnt attended CI course, i probably be impressed at their pathetic excuses for sword drill.they gave the sword almost every single piece of disrespect that is available.2 main characters i want to highlight.Shawn Lim and Ong Tzu Yong.NCC(Air and Land respectively) when i saw the horrendously wrong drill they conducted, i thought it is because they were totally new at this,so i offerred to teach them this.unpractised but nonetheless correct sword drill.their attitude towards this: tzu yong did not want to change because he alr had accustomed his miniscule sized brain to the wrong one.and shawn lim wanted to con everybody with such a pathetic display of sword drill.even when i offerred to teach them, they rather follow their wrong way.i wonder if they have even matured in their cadet lives, whereby they even attain the highest ranks that can be attained for a cadet.with such a high rank, they probably assumed that they MUST be correct.they grow with arrogance and much pride that telling them what is right seems wrong.they do not want to listen and they certainly proved one point: they don't deserve their ranks nor their swords.so why did they get the sword? we must always take into consideration that in every unit, there's always the one who seems to be the good one in front of the teachers but acutally is nothing inside.so this goes on and then two underdog stories become successes.do i have to say more about their almost nonexistent learning attitudes? because it is really sad and actually shows that their cadet lives have been lived in vain.they might as well be a non UYO personnel.hey, all that stuff they do would most likely be for personal gain instead of for the unit
Next up: Yong qiang and daryl chia.two people who are most unlearned in sword drill.i am not faulting their UYOs but their attitudes just plain disgusts me.if u ask me, thats the difference between a military uniformed group and one that is not. they are so concerned with their field work that they lack in the core values of bein in a UYO.Yong qiang asked me to teach them sword drill and then contradicts himself after listening to some loser reasoning to stick to the old one.he wasted my time cos i took time off from lessons.i feel bad realising i told mdm chin such a lie.that i even do not know of.all he was concerned about was slow march
daryl chia- this is a paragraph dedicated to you.firstly, i used to look up to you as some really good leader.i wanna say all that is lost either cos u lost your touch or u've always been giving everyone a false image.skipping classes to go and see some UYO rehearsal is none of your concern, but yet u just do that at your own will, treating the school as your own home.needing to get out of class is not an excuse.especially if u have been sleeping through classes so blatantly. u do not give the teachers respect when u do that.i'm not saint, neither am i such a slacker or extreme rule breaker. next, u decide to compromise drill standards just for convenience.to you, it may sound reallly normal.but to me, compromising drill standards is equivalent to defeatin the purpose why drill is created for, hence they mgiht as well take off their uniforms and go be students receiving prizes normally. dachi what u did at the auditorium was extremely unforgivable and i seriously cannot withstand such behaviour.some scum of our level do such stuff but i didnt expect it to come from you.if u want to talk to me about putting u down in front of your own cadet, u shoulda thought of it before you even opened your mouth to rebut my sword drill that u know nothing about.that itself lost my effect on the cadets' learning.if u hadnt opend your mouth and agree with their senseless proposal to compromise standards, i wouldnt even do that.i have my reasons for exploding like that and insulting you.i dont do that for nothing.i'm extremely disgusted at such behaviour and think you should reflect on yourself what you're in your UYO for.please do not come and try reason your slacker's attitude in front of me, cos i will not listen.
then, there's leonard.ok this one is short.he's been whining to me about not receiving awards for national day and my patience for tolerative brainless chatter has reached its limit.i'm really tired about such whining and i'm gonna say this once: you do not work towards recognition of your contribution.i'm fed up with your whining, please stop it.and please process your chatter through your rational part of your mind and think if that is even something worth listening to.
lastly, there's this dumb episode.dear staff sergeant clement tay made me look extremely bad.i've never heard of cadets walking underthe sun without beret.but he showed me the existence of such creatures with a staff sgt rank.ok usually, i'd stop the cadet.but he is an nco.and i showed him respect thats why i didnt shout at him.but he blew off muthu.and muthu started whacking me in front of the cadets.as in verbally.i could actually feel the atmosphere get to a ridiculous feel.man muthu, u shoulda given me a chance to explain before u started whacking me.again, cos i respected you, i didntgo and make noise about you attacking me.gosh, clement is not even adamant about it.this is just depressing...
ahhh....WHY DO WE HAVE TO GET SO MANY STRANGERS FOR ATC? ITS NO LONGER AREA 16.
oh and lake house is quite nice.should try to catch it.
more work and darkness in the future.steph saw is currently in the lead as she had always been in our class.we're still kissing the dust that she left behind....
